This Privacy Policy describes how TCF Tickets ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when individuals purchase tickets or interact with our ticketing platform and website.
TCF Tickets operates as a ticketing platform only. We facilitate ticket sales on behalf of Event Organizers, who are independently responsible for their own events. Where relevant, this policy clarifies what information TCF Tickets handles directly versus what may be shared with Event Organizers for operational purposes.
By using our website or purchasing tickets, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When purchasing a ticket or interacting with our services, we may collect the following:
Personal Information
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- Billing information
- Ticket purchase details
Payment Information
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). We do not store full credit card or payment details on our servers.
Technical Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information to improve platform functionality and security, including:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Website usage data
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information may be used for the following purposes:
- Processing ticket purchases and sending order confirmations
- Sending event updates and important announcements (see Section 10 for opt-out options)
- Customer support
- Event check-in and attendee verification
- Fraud prevention and platform security
- Improving website and platform functionality
We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge this inherent risk.

6b. Canadian Residents (PIPEDA)

8. Children's Privacy
Our ticketing services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, or minors accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who consents on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor without proper consent, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via email.
10. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out
If you have purchased tickets through TCF Tickets, we may send you transactional communications (such as order confirmations and event updates) as well as occasional marketing communications about future events.
In accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send marketing communications where we have your express or implied consent. You may withdraw consent and opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
- Clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
Note: Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional emails related to a ticket purchase you have already made.
